Shop Local - The New Erika's Deli

9/26/2017

Picture
Erika's Deli is back in action with new owners and focus on authentic Mexican cuisine. Located at 25 Forest Ave right in downtown Riverside, the new owners are quickly making a name for themselves and are open 11 am to 8 pm everyday.
The tamales & tacos were delicious and it's become a regular lunch spot for me as you can either eat in the restaurant or take it to go. The owners have already updated the menu and are adding more items so be sure to let them know if you have suggestions of items you'd like to see. If you haven't already, be sure to give our newest restaurant in town a shot. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Ken Circo - Circo Architects

9/19/2017

Picture
Our neighbor Ken Circo wears many different hats. In addition to being a stay-at-home dad, he currently serves as the vice president of the Riverside Library Board of Trustees and owns & operates Circo Architects, a small firm he started in 2005 right here in Riverside specializing in residential, retail, and commercial buildings & renovations.
In our conversation, we discuss how Ken and his wife found their way to Riverside, how he balanced being a stay-at-home dad while building his own architecture firm, and how he volunteers both his time & expertise as vice president of the Riverside Library Board of Trustees.

Without further ado, here's my conversation with our neighbor, Ken Circo.
