Ice Skating At Big Ball Park

One of my favorite parts of our small town is watching neighbors come together to create cool things right here in Riverside. That's exactly what the Big Chill crew along with Riverside Parks & Recreation has done each winter since 1998 in creating & maintaining the Riverside Community Ice Rink at Big Ball Park.

Weather permitting, the rink is open for 8 am to 9 pm everyday. Be sure to check out this community gem this winter as there's plenty of days left to get your family out on the ice.

On Saturday, February 3rd from 6 to 9 pm, Riverside Public Library, in partnership with Riverside Foods, will host Reading Between the Wines, a wine tasting fundraiser to support the Library's Lower Level renovation campaign.

Courtney Greve Hack is a member of the Riverside Library Board of Trustees. She came on the podcast to give you the scoop on the upcoming event on February 3rd and share the details about the Library's Lower Level renovation campaign. In our conversation, we also discuss Courtney's upbringing on the South Side of Chicago, her diverse educational background, and how her family happened upon Riverside by accident and fell in love.

Without further ado, here's my conversation with our neighbor Courtney Greve Hack.
